THE HOLY SPIRIT

Our God is three in one. Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is part of the trinity and He is

God too. When Jesus came to earth He healed a lot of people, cast away demons and performed miracles. He

did all this through the power of the Holy Spirit. Since the curse was broken, God promised us that He

was leaving an advocate “(…) Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and

in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8)

When Jesus left the world after resurrecting He said to His disciples “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit,

whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have

said to you” (John 14:26).  He also let us know that we were going to be baptized by him “For John

baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 1:5)

Few days after Jesus said this words to His disciples the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit came into the

world and we became His temple. This means that when you accept Jesus Christ in your heart the Holy

Spirit comes over you and lives in you. He will be the one that will release His precious power over

you, in order to transform you and regenerate you in order for you to be like Jesus Christ.

God has a plan, a beautiful plan for each one of us and is giving us the power through the Holy Spirit for

us to help Him build His Kingdom here on Earth. So let’s get to work my dear friends…

For you to have in mind…

+ “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you

have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor

God with your bodies” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

+ “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with

Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or

Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” (1 Corinthians 12:12-13).
