And you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. (Colossians 2:10)
How many of us have gone through times of need? I’m sure all of us have. When I moved to this country my family and I went through a long period of time where we couldn’t find ourselves, no matter how much we worked, got good grades, went to church, etc. we just didn’t feel full, satisfied, there was something missing; we didn’t feel happy nor had a good relationship with each other, the income wasn’t enough, and many more things. And it wasn’t until we understood that God is always in control that our hearts began to fill. We have to understand that He is in control of EVERYTHING, that He has our life in His great, merciful, and perfect hands. That our income is never going to be enough despite how much we work unless we put it in God’s hands.
I don’t know what you’re going through today, I don’t know if you’re lonely, depressed, broke, empty, addicted to something bad, or if good things are happening to you every day but you still feel like there's a missing piece, I want you to know something: Our hearts are a puzzle, and they’re never complete until we know Him and not only that but until we understand how much He loves us and we end up falling in love with Him as well. And please stop looking in the wrong places, the missing piece of your puzzle is not in a person, is not in your bank account, your job, alcohol, parties, drugs. The missing piece of your puzzle is in God, who sent His only son to die for YOU in The Cross because He infinitely loves you, He loves you more than you could ever imagine, and His love for you goes beyond all your understanding.
So my dear friend, carry on, because when you put your life at His feet, an avalanche of blessings comes to you and when you realize it, your heart will be complete, because He’s our
one and only satisfaction.
